Public Records/Open Meetings

The Department of Justice (DOJ) will be conducting FREE seminars about the Wisconsin Open Meetings Law and Wisconsin Public Records Law. DOJ FREE seminars about the Wisconsin Open Meetings Law and Wisconsin Public Records Law. Department of Justice experts will explain key principles and discuss recent updates. The in-person seminars are October 17 and 27; the webinars are on November 6. See the brochure for more details.

Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans

The Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans (WIARA) will be holding a series of Town Hall Meetings around the state. The topic will be "Protecting and Strengthening Retirement for All". Meetings are scheduled for Appleton, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Platteville, Richland Center, Kaukauna, Neenah, Mineral Point, Reedsburg and Sturgeon Bay.

Eau Claire: 10:30 a.m. Solidarity Walk, 11:00 a.m. Rally. Noon - 3:00 pm, Picnic and Prizes at Phoenix Park.

Fond du Lac: Labor Day Parade and Picnic at Lakeside Park on Oven Island. Parade begins at 11:00 am. Picnic runs 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Fox Valley Labor Day Parade: 10 am parade, Milwaukee st. Menasha. 11:00 am - 3:00 pm celebration Neenah Labor Temple, 157 S. Green Bay Rd., Neenah.

Green Bay: Labor Day Family Picnic 11:00 am to 4:30 pm at Bay Beach Shelter #2.

Janesville: Sunday, August 31, from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm. Laborfest at 1795 Lafayette St.

Kenosha: Laborfest at 91st St. & 22nd Ave. from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

La Crosse: LaborFest Parade at 10:00 am. Celebration to follow at Copeland Park.

Milwaukee LaborFest: Laborfest Parade and Picnic at Summerfest Grounds.

Marinette/Menominee: Noon to 5:00 pm, picnic at Marinette City Park.

Oshkosh: Labor Day Picnic and Car Show at South Park in Oshkosh.

Racine: Laborfest, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Franksville Park.
