Pleural Mesothelioma Center

Pleural mesothelioma is a rare cancer caused from exposure to asbestos. Due to the long latency period of mesothelioma of 20-50 years, seniors are at the highest risk of developing this cancer. The Pleural Mesothelioma Center is a completely free resource center for those suffering and their families. Some of these free resources include the most up-to-date information on pleural mesothelioma and cancer as well as 1-1 consultation with their expert Patient Advocates who will help find local treatment centers, doctors, and support groups.
 
 
 
 

SHIP

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides education, counseling and enrollment assistance to Medicare beneficiaries. Established in 1992, the program is overseen by the federal Administration for Community Living (ACL) and available in all states and U.S. territories.

BadgerCare Plus

BadgerCare Plus is a self-funded, stripped-down health plan for state residents with no other alternatives.  It's a very limited plan, and people do have to pay out-of-pocket, but it's a better option than having nothing.

Alliance for Retired Americans

The Alliance for Retired Americans is a national and state coalition of union retirees and progressive community activists. All AFT-Wisconsin retirees are automatically members of the National and State ARA.
